In the district around the Voltaplatz, the building work that has been ongoing for years has led to a fragmentation and disorientation and has left scars. To breathe new life into this place, a whole body is being created and defined as such in our project, using the fluid boundaries between art, architecture, traffic and landscape. Individual vessels are analyzed and crystallized out in order to link them finally into new, over-arching structures. The «genius loci» should not only point to the historical dimension of the place. Through careful forensic work in harmony with nature and the feel for a new dialog of cultures, past, present and future are merged into a balanced structure of light and immateriality
