The entrance area of the schoolhouse is shaped by an imposing piece of glass as a separation between two different places (corridor, library). This place interests stöckerselig in its function as a membrane. The transparent «skin» of the glass allows information to be stored that,through the influence of light and reflections, can be read time and again in different ways. The composite image of the town of Pfäffikon is linked visually with the contents of the library and thus becomes something perceived for the first time, various transparent levels of consciousness lie over each other
